Since becoming veggie many years ago one food stuff has stayed with me, that I have again and again is this Granose Nut Roast.
I love Sunday Lunch and this nut roast is perfect for the job. You can have it with a full Sunday lunch, it is great with mashed potato and gravy, Its good with Chips, Salads and I really like it on Sandwiches. You can serve it hot or cold, so its great for packed lunches. You can store in Fridge for up to 3 days after making. When it is cooking you feel so hungry because the smell is divine.
So easy to make, you just add water and stir and oven cook it for approx 25 mins. Sometimes I like to add a little red wine instead of all the water and I also like to add some thyme or mixed herbs. The packet says to cook it for 20 mins but I find it takes a little longer than that.
The texture is like you would expect nutty and crumbly and the taste is nice and savoury.
Each pack contains 2 servings, It is Dairy Free and Vegan. It is made with fortified vitamins including, Iron, B vitamins including B12 and Cashews and Peanuts. It is Vegetarian Society Approved. Each 116gram serving is 324Kcal.
