Gourmet Meat Free Fish Style Fingers
Fake fish fingers from Redwood’s. Even before I was vegetarian I would not go anywhere near fish so I was not looking forward to trying these. However I am surprised to say that they are OK. I would not rush out for another pack, but I think most veggies would like these, especially those who used to eat fish on a regular basis. I think children might like these too.
Perfect for quick meals, you can serve with chips and peas or with mashed potato. Good for a sandwich. They are very easy to cook you can either shallow fry, grill or oven cook.
From the chiller section. Each 215 gram pack of 6 fishless fingers is priced at £2.79. Vegan & Vegetarian Society Approved. Cholesterol Free, Dairy free, fish free and made in a meat free and dairy free environment. Per 100 grams is 231k cal. Contains Soya. Sold in health food shops or on line.
Redwood offer an amazing range of meat free products, I like their Sage & Marjoram Sausages that I reviewed earlier.

The best place for the fingers is a health food shop, Holland & Barrett stock them, I asked my local one to get this in for me
Vegan cheese, the best is Vegusto or Mozzarisella, again health food shops or wholefoods markets are best, Tesco and Asda do a vegan cheese alternative, I have only tried the Tesco version and it was not my favourite.
Which supermarket sells redwoods fishless fingers..looked everywhere and getting nowhere..Do not want to buy online….also after vegan cheese..again which supermarket sells it?
