Sheese Creamy Garlic and Herb Cheese

A vegan dairy free soft cheese alternative from Sheese (Isle of Bute Foods).  This is the first vegan cheese I have really liked,  the others i have tried so far were OK but not something I would rush out for.  This garlic and herb cheese is very tasty.  The texture is how I remember cream cheese and the flavour is very very nice, the garlic and herbs go very well together.   I tried some on crackers and then I went back for seconds.   This is perfect on crackers and I cant wait to try it on a Jacket Potato.  This is definitely on my regular shopping list.

Each 255gram pack is suitable for vegans, dairy free, cholesterol free, gluten free, lactose free, Vegan Society Approved.  From the fridge.  Per 100grams is 263kcal.  Made in Scotland.  Sold in Health food shops.

Montezuma’s Dark Chocolate Orange

Vegan Dark Chocolate Dipped Orange Slices

From Montezuma’s dark chocolate dipped crystallised Seville orange slices. These are lovely,  the strong dark chocolate works very well with the crystallised sweet orange slices.  Perfect as a vegan dessert or with a cup of coffee.  I think these would go well with some Swedish Glace Vanilla Ice Cream. Very good.

Each 130gram box is suitable for vegetarians, suitable for vegans,  made in the UK.  Sold in health foods stores and specialist shops.

I also like the Montezuma’s Giant Chocolate Buttons I reviewed earlier.

Piri Piri Chicken and Sticky BBQ Crisps

Morrisons Vegan Crisps

A seasonal limited edition multi pack crisps from Morrisons.  They are extra crunchy as per their description.   Piri Piri Chicken flavour crisps and Sticky BBQ flavour crisps.  I like these spicy crisps,   they have a nice flavour and texture.  Perfect for lunchboxes and as a snack.

Each Multipack of 6 is suitable for Vegetarians, vegan as far as I can tell. Per 25gram pack is 124kcal.  Sold in Morrisons.

Farewell Otarian

London Otarian  Closed

Sadly Otarian Vegetarian Restaurant has closed its London operations.   They are still in New York.

We realize this will come as a disappointment to all the Otarian London fans, but rest assured that we shall soon be bringing back a tastier, yummier Otarian experience that will make you forget that we were ever gone!!

Fingers crossed they will be back soon.

We need to support our veggie restaurants and eat out as often as possible or we will lose them.  I personally only eat in veggie dedicated restaurants, I do not trust restaurants who also serve meat because of the cross contamination which is bound to happen with the two together.  I hope this does not put anyone off opening a new veggie place.
