A slow rise bread in an organic Italian Style White Bread from the Tortoise Bakery in Wales. This bread takes 18 hours to rise using the Italian biga method. It is worth the effort, this is lovely bread. The crust is nice and crusty and the bread is pleasantly soft and delicious. Perfect for sandwiches, or with soup. If you have any left over I recommend making croutons with it. Very good quality bread.
Per 500gram loaf is suitable for vegans, organic, dairy free. Sold in health food shops for around £2. Made in Wales.
