A soya and dairy free ginger vegan ice cream from Booja Booja. On first impression the colour of this ice cream is not that nice, however just taste it. The warming ginger flavour of the ice cream is a total delight, it is creamy in texture and is a perfect winter vegan dessert. The ice cream is made using blended cashew nuts, this makes a pleasant change from soya ice cream, also many vegans have a soya intolerance so it is good to have another alternative. Sweetened with agave which is easier for your body to process than refined sugars.
Each 500ml pot is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, dairy free, soya free, cholesterol and gluten free, organic. Per 100ml is 164kcal. I bought mine from an independent health food shop.
Also I have tried the chocolate hunky punky ice cream they do, this is also fabulous.
