Vegan Mincemeat
Mincemeat with Port & Orange Liquor from Morrisons The Best range. This mince pie filling mix is really delicious. The flavour is sweet and the liquor and port add a richness that works really well. Perfect for Mince Pies. I will add an easy recipe soon to my site. You can make mince pies with ready made or home made pastry. I have found it quite hard to find ready made vegan mince pies so far this year so I figured I will have a go at making my own.
Each 411gram jar is suitable for vegetarians, vegan as far as I can tell. Per 20gram serving is 60kcal. Sold in Morrisons Supermarket in the baking section. Keep in the fridge once opened.
Sounds really nice! I want to make my own mince pies this year and will probably just get some ready made pastry and mincemeat and put the two together – it’s cheating, but I guess some effort still goes in, compared to buying them in the shop!
