Vegan Quorn

I recently wrote about Quorn launching their new vegan burger in the USA and not in the UK.   I mentioned I would contact them and find out if they would be offering vegan options in the UK.  I have had a response, which is positive,  but they need more reassurance that there is a market for vegan products in the UK.  Here is a copy:-

Thank you for your recent contact regarding Quorn products.

The USA vegan burger has recently been launched in the USA, it is currently our only vegan product. It is produced using a new method, with different ingredients to our other burgers (potato protein is used, rather than albumen) which means that it can be classed as ‘vegan’.

We are continually developing new products, depending on the success of the USA vegan burger and the demand for similar products within the UK we may introduce such products over here although we do not have a specific launch date at this time. We are continually looking to meet the needs/demands of our consumers.
