Vegan Salted and Sweet Chilli Crisps
Anglesey Sea Salted crisps and Biggleswade Sweet Chilli crisps from Pipers. The large packets of hand cooked crisps are a delight, the textures and flavours are really good, in fact they are some of the best crisps I have tried.
Anglesey sea salted tastes like the rose tinted memory of salted crisps gone by. They are not too hard like some handcooked crisps can be, the oil and salt combination makes these easily the best salted crisps I’ve ever
tasted.
Biggleswade sweet chilli are amazing, open the bag and it’s clear flavour is not going to be lacked, the crisps are deep red with spice. Like the salted, they have the perfect hardness and the chilli has a deep, slightly smoky, flavour
without being too hot.
Each 150gram pack is suitable for vegetarians and vegan as far as I can tell. Fried in sunflower oil. Hand cooked in Lincolnshire, England. Per 100grams is 487kcal. I bought mine in an independent health food shop.
