A hand made gluten free French Cassoulet pie, made with haricot beans and vegetables from Clives. I have tried a few pies from Clives and in general they are pretty good. This one has plenty of filling with beans and vegetables with a tomato sauce. The flavour is good and the pie is very hearty. The pastry is light and crispy and is really good for gluten free.
My favourite Clives Pie is the Aloo Gobi I reviewed earlier. I have not had a bad one yet. I like that they are made in the UK and that they use good ingredients, you can see the different vegetables, nothing is over cooked or squashed. When cooking from frozen the pack says 30 minutes in the oven, but I suggest cooking it for 40 minutes. I once had a slightly cold in the middle one before on 30 minutes.
