Onion bhaji mix from the Simon Rimmer range of SI meat free cuisine at Symingtons. To make up the mix you add onions and water. They say use raw onion, but I find that if you do that the onions are hard, I suggest lightly cooking the onions first, I made 5 large ones with the mix. The bhajis are not bad, the flavour is pleasant but slightly bitter, they are mildly spiced and make a good starter for an Indian meal. They are not the best bhajis mix I have tried, I do prefer to make my own from scratch as it is quite easy.
Each 136gram pack is suitable for vegetarians and vegan as far as I can tell. Vegetarian Society Approved. Per 100grams cooked is 185kcal. I bought mine in Morrisons Supermarket.
