Vegan Chorizo Snack Sausage
A vegan chorizo air cured sausage called Spacebar from Wheaty. Personally for me I do not like these sausages, but Paul loves them and so do other vegans that I know. They are a firm texture and very spicy, very similar in style to Peperami but vegan friendly (made with wheat proteins). They are perfect sliced up on pizzas, or on sandwiches. They are very popular, my local independent health food shop often runs out of them and sells lots. My only negative comment on these Chorizo sausages is your breath when you have eaten one, they have a powerful smell, not a good idea if you are going on a first date.
Each 40gram Chorizo Bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Per 100grams is 316kcal. Vegan Society Approved. I bought mine in an independent health food shop.
