Vegan Balti Pappadums
Mini poppadums with balti flavouring from Knights a Lidl supermarket brand. This Indian style snack is quite good. Although there is quite a lot of flavouring on the poppadums the flavour is quite delicate and the main flavour is the actual taste of plain poppadums, which is quite nice. They come in a large pack so are great for sharing.
Each 60 gram pack is suitable for vegetarians, vegan as far as I can tell. Per half a pack is 130kcal. Sold in Lidl supermarkets, who seem to be improving their range on offer to vegetarians and vegans.
These mini poppadums are very tasty and “more’sh” but are not very available. Knights seem to be a Lidls supplier and in spite of visiting several Lidls stores have only managed to buy them once. Have tried to contact the makers but no joy. Any advice? Regards Len Evans
I bought them to try from Lidles a couple of weeks ago, very impressed, great flavour from the Lime and Chutney variety’s, unfortunately they seem to have been a one off in store promomotion. Please bring them back!!
