Vegan Millionaires Shortbread

A free from pack of Millionaires Shortbread from Lazy Day Foods.  These shortbreads are free from Gluten, Wheat, Dairy, Egg, Hydrogenated Fats and are vegan friendly.   They are also made in a nut free environment.  I liked these indulgent shortbreads,  the caramel had a slight smokey flavour and the chocolate on top was lovely.  The shortbread was a little dry but was fine with the caramel and chocolate.  I really enjoyed mine with a big mug of tea.

Each 150gram pack of shortbreads is suitable for vegans and vegetarians,  suitable for coeliacs.  Per 100grams is 504kcal.  Made in Scotland.

Samuel Smiths Cherry Beer

Vegan Cherry Beer

An organic handcrafted beer with cherry juice from Samuel Smiths.  This is the second fruit beer I have tried from Samuel Smiths and I personally am very impressed.  I know that this will not be for everyone but I really enjoyed it.  The strong beer is complimented by the sweet cherry flavour and is so summery.  I had mine sitting outside on hot sunny day looking at the sea, and it was wonderful.  However Paul tasted it and just said NO,  it was not for him.  If you like beer but sometimes find it a little bitter then I am sure you will like this refreshing fruit beer.  I also really liked the strawberry version which I reviewed earlier.

Each 355ml bottle of cherry beer is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, Organic.   Vegan Society Approved.   Made in the UK in a small ancient brewery. Best served chilled.  I bought mine from Vinceremos.co.uk.
