Vegan Iron Liquid

An iron supplement drink from Hubner, called Iron Vital F.  From time to time I suffer with low iron levels (anemia).  Annoyingly iron tablets upset my stomach so I have to take the liquid which is gentler on my stomach.  Of course I do try to eat as much Iron rich foods as possible, but I still do struggle to get enough.  I have tried a few different liquid iron ranges and this one has got to the one that tastes the least awful,  it does not taste nice but I do not feel like I have drunk blood or metal when I have had some,  which is what you get with some liquid iron.

This liquid contains cherry and beetroot juice and other extras including B vitamins and vitamin C along with the iron which makes it taste better but also has added benefits.  Vitamin C helps your body to absorb Iron more easily.  When you get low iron levels in your blood it makes you feel sluggish and you need to sleep more.  I would always check with your doctor before taking any vitamins or iron supplements because too much Iron can also harm you.

Each 250ml Bottle is suitable for vegans.  Once opened stoor in the fridge.  It comes with a measuring spoon.  I bought mine in Holland & Barrett.
