Vegan Fruit Biscuits
A pack of organic fruity biscuits from Doves Farm. These biscuits should come with a warning, they are extremely moreish, I opened my packet and before I realised it I had eaten half a pack, I really enjoyed them with a mug of tea. The biscuits are crunchy and oaty, the currants are sweet and perfect for dunking.
Each 200gram pack is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Organic. Vegetarian Society Approved. Per biscuit is 53kcal. Sold in health food shops.
Vegan Plantain Spicy Crisps
A pack of plantain crisps with sweet chilli and lime from Waitrose. I really like plantain cooked fresh so I was looking forward to trying the crisps. I quite enjoyed them, they are quite hard but crunchy, the chilli flavours are pleasant and not too strong. Overall I think these make a good change from potato crisps and are interesting.
Each 100gram pack is suitable for vegetarians and vegan as far as I can tell. Per 25gram serving is 119kcal. Sold in Waitrose.
