Vegan Fruited Malt Loaf
A fruity malted loaf from the Everyday Value range at Tesco. This malt loaf is sweet and squidgy like you would expect a malt loaf to taste. It does have a slightly bitter aftertaste. The malt loaf is quite rich, I like it spread with a little vegan margarine served with a mug of tea. Malt loaf is good to take in lunch boxes as it keeps quite well.
Each malt loaf is suitable for vegetarians and vegan as far as I can tell. Per 100grams is 280kcal. Sold in the bakery section of Tesco.
