Vegan Super Food Supplement
An organic blend of nutrients in a powder format from Maximum Recovery now called Joyous Greens. This powder is designed to help your body detox, repair damage cells, strengthen your immune system and increase your metabolism to help you to lose weight. The powder consists of lots of what we call super foods including, linseed, wheatgrass, seagreens, spirulina, acai berry, spinach leaf, bilberry fruit and turmeric along with a few others.
The pack is large but they say on there that you should take it 3 times a day to get the benefit, so you get through it quite quickly. The powder smells slightly grassy, but barely noticeable, you add the mix to water and drink it. It tastes OK like a mild grassy flavour, it kind of reminded me of Matcha Green Tea, but no where near as bitter. I would recommend that if you do not like the flavour to try it in a smoothie or juice. I have taken it for a few days and I can’t say that I feel any better, however this mix does contain lots of good nutrients that are of benefit to vegans and some of them are rich in B12 which us vegans often lack. So overall this seems to be a pretty good supplement for vegans.
