Vagan Liquorice Sticks

A pack of fizzy sugar filled liquorice sticks from Holy Cow.   I really like having sweets and these vegan fizzy liquorice sticks are great,  the liquorice tastes lovely with that deep flavour and the fizzy sugar compliments the liquorice and is sweet and grainy,  they remind me of the sweets i had when I was a kid,  when you could spend 10p on a mixture of sweeties from the corner shop.  Perfect for kids and big kids like me.

Each 100gram bag is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.  I bought mine from an on line vegan retailer (vegan store).

Morrisons NuMe Pot Tomato Red Pepper

Vegan Bulgar Wheat & Quinoa Pot

A tomato, red pepper and olive flavoured pot of bulgar wheat and quinoa from the NUME range at Morrisons supermarket.   This is the second one of these pots I have tried in this range.  They are very similar to the Food Doctor Pots you can buy.  This one is surprisingly good,  I am not a huge fan of tomato based grains as they usually taste watery, however this one seems to have a good tomato flavour with the red pepper and olives.  It is not too overpowering and is nice and savoury.  There is much more bulgar wheat than quinoa which is a shame.   Ideal for lunch especially when it is cold outside as it is nice and warming.  The pot is very easy to make, you just add hot water, stir and leave for 10 minutes and enjoy.

Each 70gram pot is suitable for vegetarians and vegan as far as I can tell.  Per pot is 269k cal.  Sold in Morrisons supermarkets near to the pot noodles.
