A gluten free all natural chilli with vegetables, tofu and beans from Amys Kitchen. This is a red kidney bean and tofu mince chilli rather than a vegetable chilli which is not obvious on the front of the tin. It says a medium heat on the tin but it is more of a low to medium heat. Sadly I did not enjoy this chilli, the lack of vegetables makes it very one dimensional. If you’re after a simple mince-chilli, then this would likely fit the bill. I had mine with iceberg lettuce and a flour tortilla, brushed with olive oil, cut into sliced and baked until crisp golden brown. I don’t think I would try this again.
Each 416gram tin is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Vegetarian Society Approved. Wheat & Gluten Free. Per half a tin is 224kcal. Sold in some supermarkets and health food shops.
