Vegan Gluten Free Chocolate Cookies

A pack of reduced fat, double chocolate gluten free vegan cookies from Angelic.

I love chocolate cookies and I am always happy to find something new like these ones.  It says reduced fat,  but they are still 75kcal per cookie which is not low.   The cookies are a good texture crumbly and chewy,  there is a good chocolate flavour.  However I am not sure what it is,  but I did not enjoy them,  something seemed off with them.  The balance of flavour was not quite right. Not something I would have again.

Each pack of cookies is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.  Per cookie is 75kcal.  I got mine from a local vegan shop.

Wholebake Pistachio Flapjack

A handmade flapjack with whole oats and pistachio nuts from Wholebake.

I think I have been spoiled by other better quality flapjacks, for example the Trek bars which I love.  I found this one to be OK,  quite sweet.  The nuts did not taste much like pistachio, but they added a nice bit of crunch.  It is quite heavy like you would expect a flapjack to be.   The flapjack is perfectly adequate, but if I had a choice between this and a Trek bar then I would go for the Trek every time.

Each 80gram flapjack is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.  Vegetarian Society Approved.  Per flapjack is 354kcal.
