Hand baked vegan Scottish Shortbread biscuits from Eskal. Made from a family recipe in Scotland, I actually think this is the best vegan shortbread I have tried so far, excluding home made. It is crumbly and light with that lovely shortbread flavour you would expect. Perfect to have with tea, I like mine spread with a little bit of strawberry jam to add a bit of moisture. Really really good. I also like that they are using very simple ingredients without preservatives. The ingredients list is Wheat Flour, non hydrogenated vegetable fat, corn flour and sugar, that is it.
Each pack of 6 biscuits is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Dairy free. Made in Scotland. I bought them from an online vegan retailer.
