A pack of gluten free flour, gluten free sweet batter and gluten free savoury batter from Hraksa, I was sent these to try.
I have not had a chance to try out these products yet, but I wanted to give them a mention, as they look really useful. Here is what the suppliers has to say:-
Just a quick word about our company and the products we import: Our company is called Bearsted Foods Ltd. We are a family run business based in Maidstone. The Hraska flours are all natural, gluten-free, vegan and gmo free. They are high in fibre and rich in protein. The manufacturers are vegetarians (almost vegans) and have been promoting a healthy vegetarian lifestyle in my country since the 80s. Their products have been around since 2002 and won several awards.
There are 3 following products sold in 250g or 1kg bags:
1. Hraska Gluten-free Flour Blend: great for thickening stews and soups, making gravies, sauces, dips and dressings and as an egg replacement in doughs, pastry and cakes, making cakes, desserts etc.
2. Hraska Gluten-free Savoury Batter Mix: great for all types of savoury batter and as an egg replacement in burgers, patties, crêpes and fritters.
3. Hraska Gluten-free Sweet Batter Mix: for baking cakes and making desserts and as an egg replacement in pancakes, puddings, sweet doughs, pastry and fruit fritters.
All 3 products are made of: peas, millet, rice, maize and turmeric.
The Savoury Batter Mix contains also garlic, chilli, mixed herbs and salt. The Sweet Batter Mix contains mixed spice and a little bit of sugar.
