A pack of individually wrapped mini desserts made with coconut milk in a strawberry flavour from Mochi Ice Dessert.
I recently reviewed the Green Tea version of these little desserts and sadly I was not impressed. The dessert balls do look lovely with nice pink colour. When cut, there is an obvious outer shell. When I tasted it, the shell has a quite unpleasant texture – becoming a kind of slimy gel on the tongue. The inner “ice cream” is actually quite nice in both taste and texture. It harks back to traditional mass-produced strawberry ice cream. The problem is there is far too little of it if you don’t want to eat the shell. Not enjoyable. Also I do not like the idea of all the E numbers and hydrogenated fats.
Each 156gram pack of mini desserts are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Per 100grams is 249kcal. I got mine from Goodness Direct.
