Vegan Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Bar

Dark chocolate with hazelnuts is a great combination. This bar has lovely dark chocolate which is smooth and really good quality with lovely pieces of hazelnuts in there. This is a lovely bar of grown up chocolate, I really enjoyed it.
Each 40gram bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. I got mine from Vegan Store.
Vegan Snack Bar
A snack bar made with mixed seeds, raspberry and chocolate from 9bar. This was in the October Vegan Tuck Box.
Quite an enjoyable bar. The seeds are crunchy the sweet hit of raspberry is very nice and the chocolate is yummy, it is not too sweet and has a good balance. A treat bar with some health benefits too.
Each 40gram bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Per 100grams is 561kcal.
Vegan Mini Mars Bar Style Chocolate
A pack of mini mars bar style pieces coated in milk style chocolate called No Why from Premier Chocolatiers, these were in the November Vegan Tuck Box.
This company make the NO NO’S that I reviewed earlier which are fantastic. This pack is also extremely good. It is hard to think that these are vegan as they are sweet, fluffy and chewy. They are just lovely. The pack emptied very quickly as they are so good.
Each pack is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Nut Free. Per 40gram serving is 160kcal.
Vegan Hazelnut Chocolate Bar
A giant chocolate bar with hazelnuts from Vego Good Foods. I got this from Vegan Tuck Box who I mentioned recently.
What a wonderful bar of chocolate. On first glance it looks like dark chocolate, it is, however it has a hazelnut paste mixed in the chocolate, which makes the chocolate smoother, softer and creamier. The whole hazelnuts are really nice and work great, they add some nice crunch. I loved this bar and I will definitely be having this again and again.
Each large 150gram bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Per 30gram serving is 175kcal. Gluten free. I got mine from Vegan Tuck Box.
Vegan Dark Chocolate
A dark chocolate bar with Mandarin & Ginger flavours from Seed & Bean. This chocolate is fair trade and organic. Made in the UK.
This is a really pleasant bar of chocolate. The chocolate is 72% cocoa so it is dark but it is not bitter, the citrus mandarin and the warming ginger add a wonderful flavour to the chocolate, it is really tasty. I would definitely have this again.
Each 32gram bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Vegan Society Approved. organic and fair trade. Per 100grams is 580kcal. I got mine in a health food shop for .66p.
Vegan Dark Chocolate Marzipan Bar
A plain chocolate marzipan bar from the Choceur range of Aldi Supermarket. This bar is great if you like marzipan. The marzipan is rich and indulgent, very sweet and has a pleasant almond flavour. The dark chocolate works really good against the sweetness of the marzipan. I like to cut it into slices and have a bit at at time as it is very sweet.
Each 100gram bar is suitable for vegetarians and vegan as far as I can tell. Per bar is 470kcal. Sold in Aldi supermarkets.
Vegan Strawberry Rice Milk Chocolate
A bar of strawberry flavour rice milk chocolate bar from Zero Zebra. This bar is allergen free, with no milk, no soy, no egg, no nuts, no gluten.
This milk chocolate alternative bar is quite good, the milk chocolate is harder than some I have tried, but has a nice sweet flavour. The strawberry does not overpower the chocolate taste. I like that it is fair trade and organic.
Each 35gram bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Per bar is 204kcal. Organic and Fairtrade. Allergen Free. I got mine in an independent health food shop
Vegan Bounty Style Bar
A coconut coated bar of rice-milk chocolate coated with Almonds called Mahalo from Go Max Go Foods. I have tried a few bars of chocolate from go max go and I have been pretty pleased. This bar is similar to a Bounty type bar but coated with Rice Milk chocolate and topped with almonds. The coconut is quite dense, the chocolate is really good and the almonds on top are pleasant. I enjoyed it.
Each 57gram bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Cholesterol free, nothing artificial. No trans fats. I bought mine on line.
Vegan Style Milky Way Bar
A rice-milk chocolate milky way style bar from Go Max Go Foods. Another good vegan chocolate bar from this company, the rice-milk chocolate is really good and the fluffy inner bit is quite dense and not as fluffy as I remember Milky Ways to be, but it tastes really good. Go Max Go have done a great job with all the bars I have tried so far, I hear they are looking to introduce some other bars into their range so I cannot wait.
Each 57gram bar is suitable for vegans, no cholesterol, no trans fats. Sold on line and in health food shops.
Vegan Snickers Style Bar
A bar of chocolates with peanuts, caramel and nougat in a rice-milk chocolate coating called Jokerz Bar from Go Max Go foods. Another really good bar from this company, I like rice-milk chocolate, it works really well with this snickers style bar, the peanuts add a nice savoury flavour to the sweet chocolate caramel and nougat, the bar is chewy and crunchy. This is a really good treat.
Each 60gram bar is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Nothing artificial and no trans fats. Dairy Free and Vegan. Per bar is 280kcal. I bought mine on line through a vegan retailer.
Vegan Rice Crispy Bar
A vegan chocolate bar made with rice milk with rice crispies called Snap from Go Max Go. I very much enjoyed this bar of chocolate. It is a quite sweet so i would suggest that you share a bar as it is a bit too much for one. The rice crispies are crunchy and work really well with the sweet rice milk chocolate. I think kids would love this. I did not realise how good rice milk chocolate could be.
Each 50gram bar is suitable for vegans, no cholesterol, no hydrogenated fats. dairy free, nothing artificial. Per bar is 250kcal.
Vegan Chocolate Crispy Bar
A dark chocolate bar with honeycomb crisps called Maverick from Venture Foods. I have found it hard to say anything good about this bar of chocolate other than the fact that it is vegan. I did not enjoy it, the chocolate is unpleasant and bitter and the honeycomb crisps were virtually non existent, there were tiny specks of honeycomb. I would not recommend this bar. If you want a vegan honeycomb treat there are two I would suggest that I have reviewed recently. The Moo Free mini moos hunnycomb and the Holy Cow Cinder Toffee. Both are really good.
Each 35gram bar is suitable for vegans and is vegan society approved. Fair trade, 70% cocoa solids. Sold in health food shops.
Vegan Style Mars Bar
A bar of chocolate similar to a Mars Bar but made with rice milk from Go Max Go Foods. I tried just a small piece of this bar and I thought it was quite good, it is quite dense and sweet. Paul ate the rest of the bar and whilst he enjoyed it, it did become sickly after a short while. It would be better half the size or as a miniature.

Vegan Chocolate with Hemp Seeds
A dairy free chocolate with shelled hemp seeds with no added sugar from Plamil. This surprised me as I did not think I would like this bar, but I did. The chocolate works really well with the hemp seeds which add and earthy taste. It is sweetened with xylitol. Plamil continue to surprise me as most of the food I have tried that they make is quite good. I do think they need a packaging redesign as I feel that it does not convey the quality of their products.
Each 100gram bar is suitable for vegans, Vegetarian Society Approved. Their factory is powered by 100% renewable energy. Priced at £2.16 sold in health food shops.
Vegan “Free From” Dark Chocolate Bar
A dairy, gluten, Egg and wheat free vegan chocolate bar from Celtic Chocolates. Made with 60% cocoa. This is a good chocolate bar, it is quite strong and dark to taste, so I could not eat too much in one go, just a square or two. Perfect with a hot drink. Winners of a Chocolate Lovers award from the Irish Food Writers Guild.
Each 35gram bar is suitable for vegans, suitable for people with allergy and intolerance concerns. Per bar is 188kcal.
