A gluten free dry vegan sausage mix from Sharaf Natural Foods. The sausages are very easy to make you just add water and mix, leave to stand for 15 minutes and then shape in to sausages, you can freeze some of the sausages prior to cooking as the mix does make a large amount. To cook them you shallow fry them for a few minutes. The first thing that you get with these sausages is the smell, when you are mixing up there is a very powerful tomato and raw garlic smell, I found this really unpleasant because it was so strong. When the sausages are cooked the flavour is mainly tomato and garlic. If you like these flavours then you will like the sausages, personally I thought they were OK but not something I would have again.
Each 300gram pack makes 10-15 vegan sausages. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Gluten free. Wheat free. Per 100grams is 358kcal. I bought mine in an independent health food outlet.
