A couscous and lentil instant ready meal in a pot from The Food Doctor. Made with couscous, lentils, tomatoes, red peppers and cumin. This pot is very easy to make you fill it with hot water to the level stir and leave for a few minutes before serving. The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of garlic when I added the water. The pot is has a mild spice flavour with the main flavours being tomato and peppers. The couscous is nice and there is a good amount of lentils. Overall this is OK for a lunch or a quick bite, however I would not eat it before a job interview or a date. But it is a warming quick meal.
Each 70gram pot is suitable for vegetarians and vegan as far as I can tell (see faq). Per pot is 268kcal. Sold in health food shops and supermarkets.
